If anyone knows the name of the mountain closest to the town of
Tulelake, let us know. That's where this tour shot is taken.
There is 20-foot white cross planted on top of this ridge, which
is also visible from Tulelake.
This is of the best viewpoints to see all the
Tulelake Basin's landmarks, accessible by dirt roads and a short
hike to the top. Obsidian Mountain and Horse Mountain can be
seen from here, as well as many points deep in the Lava Beds,
all rich in native American history. |
